FEELINGS

The gestures inside my work put into the light three simple facts; nothing lasts, nothing is finished and nothing is perfect.

The only thing I feel certain of these days is that every morning I wake up in a different way. I see my work as an existential tool for the self-exploration and to release the human emotions that help to build and develop myself. As much as I explore my inner being I fully understand a vast number of fragments of the universe which surround us. Although I can only visualize some parts, they help me to build new possibilities between the individual and collective reality, placing into evidence the fact that nothing is so inscrutable and solid as it appears to be.

Moving into a non-place between nature and culture, awakening a primitive behavior, developing a means of building as a type of particular and savage knowledge. It is possible to convey tools which are also means of knowledge. Presenting the possibility of sharing; transmuting the concept of supposing cultural differences with an artistic creative sense.

The practice of making, as an extension of the body and the soul connecting directly with the environment, nature, and everything that surrounds it, entering a new principle of harmony. Trying to provoke a reflection between the object and its form, through the manipulation of the material and the observation of its specific qualities.

The valuing of the incomplete, not only like a simple condition, but as an aesthetic possibility, of beauty as a timeless state, and that we can not encompass if it is not through our own imperfection.

The relationship between the places, history, politics and the construction of our own subjectivities. I collect and work with found material, which that came with an own narrative and history. In the sculptures, installations, and material collages that I produce the fragments are juxtaposed, staggered, scrape, enrage, approach, deny, affirm, construct, and reconstruct new possible interpretations in a new lexicon of misunderstandings; actions that attempt to generate news questions, unlearn what was learned, and think again about how we relate to the others, to the system and to the objects of daily consumption.
